At HydtroTrident, we take pride in providing customized waterproofing solutions to our clients. We specialize in waterproofing of both Commercial and Residential buildings. Our waterproofing procedures are very technical and have a step wise execution. We also waterproof below grade surfaces such as underground water tanks (UGWT), Sewage Treatment plants (STP), Basement retaining walls, swimming pools and many more .

Procedure for polymerized waterproofing
CHIPPING
Using a 5- 10 Kgs chipping machine, we remove the existing screed on the surface to expose the mother slab .
GRINDING
Using a 4” or 6” grinder, the mother slab is ground and made smooth and ready for waterproofing. Upon grinding, cracks and hairline fractures surface. These cracks are opened up and are repaired using either a repair mortar plaster or epoxy depending on the conditions.
HAUNCHING
Using a treated mortar , the corners of the slab are coped to form a slope so that water does not stagnate and penetrate the slab.
FIRST COAT WATERPROOFING COMPOUND
A suitable waterproofing compound is mixed with a particular ratio of cement and is applied as a smooth coat on the surface to be waterproofed. It is allowed to cure for 7-8 hours before applying the second coat.
SECOND COAT USING FIBER MEASH AND WATERPROOFING COMPOUND
Prior to applying the second coat of the waterproofing compound, a Fiber mesh is laid and when reinforced , the system achieves high performance hardwearing properties needed for Terrace slabs .
FINAL COAT
A Third and final coat is applied over the second coat forming a seamless cover . It’s an ultra-violet rays resistant product.
PROTECTION SCREED
Using a mix of Cement, Sand, Fiber Crete , Special DM powder , a protection screed is laid over the coated surface with the correct slopes in place , to protect the coated surface and to prevent any ingress of water into the slab.
